Dr. Jake McLeodFoot & Ankle Sports Medicine Surgeon
Dr. Jake McLeod completed his undergraduate work at the University of Portland before earning a medical degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He then completed a three-year surgical residency program at the Highlands Foot & Ankle Institute in Denver, Colorado.
More recently, he finished a foot and ankle sports medicine and surgical fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. While at Virginia Mason, his clinic treated professional athletes from the Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Reign FC, and the Seattle Storm.
Dr. McLeod routinely deals with sprains, fractures, and other foot pain due to bunions, flat feet, or arthritis. He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacements, and minimally invasive surgeries, including ankle arthroscopy.
Dr. McLeod has attended numerous advanced surgical courses, including those covering flatfoot reconstruction, foot and ankle arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, and fundamentals of external fixation for trauma and deformity correction.
He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.
A native of Bandon, Oregon, Dr. McLeod is an avid fan of the Oregon Ducks, Portland Trailblazers, and Atlanta Braves. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
