Jake McLeod, DPM, Joins LOA Staff
Dr. Jake McLeod Longview Orthopedic Associates is proud to announce that foot and ankle surgeon Jake McLeod, DPM, has joined the staff. Dr. McLeod will handle a full orthopedic caseload related to foot and ankle care.
"I deal with a lot of cases of trauma to the foot and ankle, including sprains and fractures, as well as foot pain due to bunions, flat feet, or arthritis," he said. "I also specialize in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacements, and minimally invasive surgeries, including ankle arthroscopy."
After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Portland, he earned a medical degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He then completed a three-year surgical residency program at the Highlands Foot & Ankle Institute in Denver, Colorado. More recently, he finished a foot and ankle sports medicine and surgical fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. While at Virginia Mason, his clinic treated professional athletes from the Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Reign FC, and the Seattle Storm.
Dr. McLeod has attended numerous advanced surgical courses, including those covering flatfoot reconstruction, foot and ankle arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, and fundamentals of external fixation for trauma and deformity correction.
He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. McLeod is an avid fan of the Oregon Ducks, Portland Trailblazers, and Atlanta Braves. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
