LOA Helps Fill the Canoe

For the fourth consecutive year, Longview Orthopedic Associates has participated in the Fill the Canoe School Supply Drive sponsored by Red Canoe Credit Union and the Salvation Army.

The drive, which ran from July 29th through August 16th, saw LOA staff members gather 80 pounds of paper, pencils, erasers, notebooks, backpacks, and crayons for distribution to area kids. Red Canoe matches each pound of supplies donated by participating organizations.

Lauren Miller of LOA again organized this year’s event. "In the past six years, this effort has resulted in more than 3,000 local children receiving free supplies for the upcoming school year," Miller said.
